4th day Ouadane - Richad - El Beyd - Ouadane

Day dedicated to the desert, we will discover one of the largest craters visible from satellite, caused by the impact with a meteorite. We then continue to the village of El Beyd where we will see two rock art sites and a small museum "organised" by a local who has amassed tens of hundreds of lithic tools and prehistoric finds in a hut. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

5th day Ouadane- Cinguetti- Ouadane

In the morning we leave for Cinguetti, the city famous for its libraries and for the sand that is covering it. Over the years the town has been moved three times but the desert advances inexorably. Visit to the oasis. Lunch in the auberge. Then return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

6th Ouadane - Amagor - Nouakchott

Departure in the morning to return to the country's capital: stop in Amagor to visit the rock paintings discovered by Monod and to admire the landscape of Fort Sagane, where the film of the same name was filmed. Packed lunch. Arrival in Nouakchott, dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

7th day Nouakchott

In the morning visit to the archaeological museum and the fish market which takes place directly on the beach. Then continuation to the Atlantic coast where we stop in a small local restaurant directly on the beach for a fish-based lunch.

In the afternoon return to Nouakchott and dinner in a restaurant. Rooms available until departure for the transfer to the airport.
